In other terms, one could distinguish between volunteer computing, volunteer thinking, volonteer sensing, volonteer gaming and extreme (participatory) citizen science. This portal is a little citizen science project by itself, named "Citizen Science for Citizen Science" (CS4CS), and it aims to collect information about various citizen science projects.

Below you can add new citizen science projects, infrastructure and software or you can contribute to existing entries. Project refers to a specific citizen science project.
