Monday

- Bill Verplank on Interaction Design (2:46 min., YouTube)
- The 'Mom Test' for Website Usability Testing with Matt Bailey
- Chicken and Egg by Kai Brunner (3 min., Vimeo)
- Demo Usability Test by Steve Krug (only if time left, else on week 2 !)

- Usability guidelines - what are they and who makes them ?
- Presentation of http://usavility.gov and (shortly!) its guidelines.
- Using usability guidelines for guidelines-based_reviews (short definition and extra resources)
- Alternatives to guidelines-bases review, many (!), e.g.
- Classroom activities
- Download the an Excel workbook containing all 247 web usability guidelines from userfocus
- Analyze http://webster.ch according to instructions.
