Who you will need for the project

Digital manufacturing communities involve a variety of players from different backgrounds.  The categories below reflect only the players you'll need to add to your team to complete it. Each team member may take on multiple roles depending on their skill set, and collaboration between roles is essential for the project's success. Clear communication and a shared vision will help the team navigate challenges and innovate effectively.

Profile Role
•Facilitator/Instructor:
  • Provides guidance and support throughout the workshop.
  • •Helps with technical and design challenges and facilitates group discussions.
  • Encourages collaboration and ensures all voices are heard.
•Participants:
  • •Active collaborators in the design process.
  • •Engage in brainstorming, designing, and prototyping activities.
•Technical Support:
  • Assists with the use of digital fabrication tools and troubleshooting any technical issues.
  • Operates digital fabrication equipment (3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters).
  • Advises on material choices and fabrication techniques.
  • Assembles prototypes and handles hands-on building tasks.
  • Troubleshoots issues during the assembly process.
•Documentation Team:
  • •Documents the process, captures photos, videos, and notes on the evolution of the projects
  • Creates technical documents, user manuals, and assembly guides.
