Firas Etaki is currently working in his MSc degree, Master of science in learning and teaching technologies, MALTT, at TECFA, a research and teaching unit created in 1989 by the School of Psychology and Education, the University of Geneva, holding a Bachelor degree in French language and literature from the University of Aleppo, he has studied the computer science at the Syrian Virtual University, and has also studied the Translation: French/Arabic – Arabic/French at the University of Aleppo, He has been working in the publishing industry since 1996, today he is the Regional Director of the local branch of a chain of bookstores in Syria. With great passion towards the book industry, his current aim is to develop the digital publishing sector, and encourage schools and universities in the Arabic world to adapt highly interactive curricula that use the information technologies for better educational outcomes.
