MAMP
Definition
MAMP is for Mac what WAMP is for Windows. After the installation of MAMP on a mac computer, an Apache server and a MySQL server can be run locally. MySQL Databases can be administered with FlashMyAdmin or phpMyAdmin. Open Source LMS like Hot Potatoes, Dokeos, Moodle...can therefore be configured locally on one's own computer.
