User:Jim Tyson

Jim trained initially as a linguist, specialising in discourse analysis and computational linguistics.

After some years teaching in linguistics and computer science, he moved sideways into IT training and research support in higher education.

For the past seven years Jim has worked at UCL initially specialising in research oriented IT training for graduate students and staff (statistical software, qualitative analysis software, programming and operating systems) and then in training development where he now specialises in instructional design.

Jim's current project is to develop

• a lean version of ADDIE that can be integrated with Agile Software/System development projects
• a task driven development method to provide a controlled development phase for ADDIE
