Dr Stiler is Regional Director for Education with the University of La Verne (CA) and Assistant Professor with the College of Education and Organizational Leadership (CEOL). His research interests include expeditionary teaching and learning, and the study of emerging technology. He is the author or co-author of 9 publications and 2 books..

Dr. Stiler completed his doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in Multicultural Teacher Education at the University of New Mexico (1999). As an instructional leader with Albuquerque Public Schools he has taught middle school and high school (GATE Programs) and served as Mentor Teacher with the University of New Mexico-Albuquerque Public Schools Partnership Program.

Dr. Stiler has planned and conducted school-based workshops for teachers with Albuquerque Public Schools in conjunction with Sandia National Laboratories, the University of New Mexico, NASA and the International Nuclear Propulsion Symposium. Dr. Stiler has developed university-school partnerships in Indiana, New Mexico and California.
