Serena Matheson has been teaching at Riverview Rural High School for 8 years. For the past 3 years, Serena has taught Co-operative Education to students in grades 11 and 12. Currently, Serena is on sabbatical from the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board.

Serena Matheson received a Master of Education in Leadership and Administration Saint Francis Xavier University in 2012, a Bachelor of Education with a focus in elementary education from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2000, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Cape Breton University in 1998. Serena is enrolled in the Master of Education in Information Technology through Memorial University of Newfoundland and Cape Breton University. She has completed this wiki in fulfilment of an assignment in the course Education 6620 Issues and Trends in Educational Computing.
