• The XML Linking Language, or XLink, is an XML markup language used for creating hyperlinks for XML documents. XLink is a W3C specification which describes methods for allowing elements to be inserted into XML documents in order to create and describe links between resources, whether internal or external to the original document. Current implementations

While there are currently (2006) several experimental XML Linking implementations, XLinks are not or badly supported in current Web browsers.

• Simple Xlinks work in Mozilla/Firefox for XML contents. E.g.

• Simple Xlink support is mandatory for SVG 1.0 simplementations (and work with most)
