Introduction

Webinars are seminars (or similar) organized using various types of web conferencing software.

Webinars can be oneway, i.e. take the form of podcasts, or include active participation of the audience.

According to [ Wikipedia] (oct 2012), “The term "webinar" is a portmanteau of web and seminar, meaning a presentation, lecture, or workshop that is transmitted over the Web.”
