I am the Department Head Teacher at Sino-Canada School outside Shanghai. This school is celebrating its 10th year, and I have been a teacher here since it opened its doors.  I am proud to say that I have helped it develop into one of the best BC offshore schools in China.  We are now in our second year of integrating the learning management system Moodle. This wiki is part of my MEd in IT at Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Previous to her 10 years of teaching at the school in China, Leslie also taught for the Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education in Japan. It has been this 20+years experience of teaching and travelling in Asia that has helped her focus on second language learning issues in her pursuit of the Masters of Education in Information Technology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. Leslie received Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Victoria.
