Definition

The Reload Editor is a multi-standard IMS/SCORM content packaging editor.

  • It allows to assemble contents and tag them with MetaData according to several standards (various IMS Content Packaging versions, different version of IMS/IEEE Metadata, and various SCORM run-time instructions)
  • Add Metadata at course level
  • Edit IMS Learning Design (level A) - Question: Does the stand-alond LD editor support more levels ??
  • It doesn't do IMS Simple Sequencing (needs verification !)

It also can produce a stand-alone HTML-based deployable package.

Releases

There are several releases:

  • The 2.5.2 release of Reload editor (nov 2006) includes support for IEEE LOM, IMS MD 1.2.4, IMS CP 1.1.4 and SCORM 2004 (3rd edition) specifications.

Note: This latest version is only available as manual install (files to dezip ... as of 21:30, 29 November 2006 (MET))
