* On a related issue: We also would like to come up with a model for "authorship", i.e. a somewhat practical model that identifies main authors of an article, so that individual articles can be quoted with authors (if the authors wish so).
* On a related issue: Per default, your contribution will remain "unsigned", but you also may sign an individual article as author (under the condition that you add the names of the other important contributors).

Here is a provisional policy (DSchneider 15:08, 13 May 2006 (MEST)). We may add some more stuff at some point.

  • We require that authors have a login and that their home page provides a means to identify authors (e.g. via a pointer to a home page).
  • On a related issue: Per default, your contribution will remain "unsigned", but you also may sign an individual article as author (under the condition that you add the names of the other important contributors).
  • Everything you do is logged and kept in history.
  • We reserve the rights to remove a user account and block access to ip numbers in case of obvious misbehavior.
