Introduction
According to Wikipedia (3/10/2022), Onboarding or organizational socialization is the mechanism through which new employees acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors in order to become effective organizational members and insiders.
In Educational technology, this term is sometimes used to describe helping participants getting familiar with a new environment, in particular the environment and tools used in a new online course or program.
