Margaret holds a Master’s of Arts Degree (Rural Sociology and Community Development) and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. She has over 15 years’ experience working in the education and child safeguarding sectors. Margaret is skilled in working closely and in collaboration with Ministry of Education and Teachers Service Commission officials in ensuring government priorities as captured in SGD 4 of ensuring access, retention and transition of learners are achieved. She has apt mobilization, negotiation, networking and collaboration skills which are evident in the many ways she is able to engage different players, including partners in areas of interest. She is a good planner, is result oriented with good analytical and interpersonal skills. Under child safeguarding and protection, Margaret has great experience in designing and implementing programs that ensure children and vulnerable adults’ rights are safeguarded. At the organization level, she is the child and gender safeguarding focal point. Margaret effectively represents LISP in Education in Emergency working group, is trained in Child Protection in Emergency and is currently undergoing a training on digital literacy in Emergency. with the University of Geneva.
