According to [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HttpWikipedia], {{quotation | Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is a method used to transfer or convey information on the World Wide Web. Its original purpose was to provide a way to publish and retrieve HTML pages.
