formée en sciences administratives, j’ai ultérieurement mené des études supérieures de second cycle en sciences de l’éducation où j’ai réalisé des travaux de recherches portant, notamment, sur les modes d’enseignements et d’apprentissages ainsi que sur les politiques de gestion, de validation et de reconnaissance de ces derniers; que se soit au niveau de la formation des adultes, des jeunes ou des adolescents. Ces travaux m’ont amené à m’intéresser à la question de l’ouverture en éducation, à savoir la reconnaissance des multiples des voies d’accès aux savoirs et les multiples facteurs qui les influencent et les favorisent.


Je suis actuellement doctorante à l'université de Genève et je travaille ma thèse sous la direction de Mireille Betrancourt, Daniel K. Schneider et Nicolas Nova: mon projet de recherche s'intitule Processus d'apprentissages en situation informelle à travers l'utilisation des technologies de l'information et de la communication.

Ph.D. student in Sciences of Education at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. My research focuses on mobiles’ ICT learning processes of repairers and vendors operating in the informal economy sector in Haiti. The goal is to report on learning and skills’ developpement in an informal environment using mobile technologies employed alternately as a tool to learn, communicate and build a professional identity. On a wider scale the research aims to contribute to a better understanding of knowledge and competences acquired outside formal settings and to provide appropriate responses to diverse learning needs of individuals.
 
Three theoretical axes underlined the research: human activity mediated by mobile technologies for learning new skills in informal situations; the influence of social context and social practices in the process of informal learning; the influence of trajectories on skills ‘development in an informal setting.
 
I hold a Bachelor Degree in Administrative Sciences from the Institut des Hautes Etudes Economiques et Sociales (IHECE), a Diploma in School Administration from Quisqueya University, a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from Penn State University, a Higher Diploma in Childhood and Youth Policies from Haiti State University (UEH) and the Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO), a Research Diploma in Digital Education from the University of Lille.
 
I have fifteen years of experiences in the field of Education. I worked with private institutions, international and governmental organizations on teacher training projects and the development of educational reform policies for the improvement of the Haitian education system. I'm the founder of a Youth Collaborative Writing club and an online facilitator for research projects writing courses using Qualitative Methodology.
