I am an associate professor in the department of Curriculum and Instruction in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria. I teach mathematics education, technology and research methods courses. I am one of the authors/designers of the [www.mathtappers.com MathTapper] series of math apps for iOS. Other topics that I have (co-)investigated include: iPads in education,sharing teacher/student created resources with Explain Everything, clickers, constructed response systems, geocaching/geotrekking, Scratch, comic creation, threshold and friction with educational technologies, adaptive testing, etc..
