Definition
A news feed aggregator is a software or a web-based tool that is used to read RSS, Atom or Rdf files. It's used to check and to survey websites updates and news. What's interesting is the fact that the users have not to check a lot of websites searching for updates. A news feed agregator creates a unique space in which the user retrieves all the information from all its preferred websites.
The main advantage is to build a personal newspaper and to gain a lot of time. An old paradigm is included in this new way to reach the information, that is pulled instead of pushed for example with email.
The user can organize its subscribtions: group feeds into folders, delete, move, export in an OPML format (to share its subscriptions with others)...
