Chap_2 Final questions

  • Could you please explain how a fossil is analyzed after its discovery? What are the different steps that are required for its study? How do scientists identify which fossil belongs to which organism or species?
  • As we know based on the Biological Species Concept (BSC), two individuals belong to the same species if they can potentially interbreed and if their offspring is fertile. How can scientists classify fossils while the BSC cannot be applied?
  • Could you tell us on which criterias scientists rely on to know where it is more likely to find fossils?
  • Do you think that one day all of the study on the human history would be declared false?
