Tragedy of the commons -- Daniel K. Schneider (talk) 20:35, 3 November 2022 (CET)

I think it would be useful to refer to theories that discuss the commons, e.g. in political economics. Folks in education always start such project when there is funding and let things die and/or wonder why nothing is sustainable.

For Example Elinor Ostrom (Nobel prize in economics)

Or Mancur Olsen, e.g.

Olson, Mancur. (1965). The Logic of Collective Action: Public Goods and the Theory of Groups. Cambridge, MA: Harvard University Press.
