Introduction
According to Wikipedia (3/10/2022), Onboarding or organizational socialization is the mechanism through which new employees acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors in order to become effective organizational members and insiders.
In Educational technology, this term is used to help participants getting familiar with a new environment, in particular the tools used in a new online course or program.
